The Galecia Group has expertise in five key Focus Areas: RFID, automated materials handling, Open Source library system software, RFID, web services and workflow optimization. Group Principal, Lori Ayre, is recognized by libraries and vendors alike as the de facto authority on the library RFID and automated materials handling market. Galecia Group services also include analysis and procurement, and working with libraries on workflow optimization without the technology component. Consultations often include interlibrary delivery analysis, change management and technology integration workshops, project planning and service model definition, Lean consulting and training, space design, and equipment recommendations.

The Galecia Group's James Craner has been helping community, nonprofit, and government organizations implement technology solutions for over 15 years. His duties include strategic technology consulting, project management, and website and application development — with a focus on Drupal, and GIS/online mapping.

The Focus Area pages provide a little background about each topic and summarize some of the projects we've done in each area.

To get you up to speed on the most current developments in each Focus Area, we've also pulled in relevant blog posts on that topic.
