Library Consortium Central Sorter Automated Materials Handing System Consultation
Project Summary
This was a follow-up engagement with WCCLS after the initial project in 2010 when numerous recommendations were provided related to their delivery, materials handling, and RFID and library automated materials handling and self-service systems. After implementing many of the recommendations, WCCLS was ready to tackle automation of their central sorting. Ayre worked with WCCLS to design a workflow for the new automated system and to assist in developing the requirements that would be used to procure the equipment.
