Galecia Group Principal, Lori Ayre, is recognized by libraries and vendors alike as the de facto authority on the library RFID and automated materials handling market. Many of her projects have her working with architects or municipalities on large library building projects.
Galecia’s Digital Services Unit is headed up by Jim Craner, a veteran software developer with expertise in open source software and open data. Jim has worked in the non-profit and library industry for over 15 years and has worked exclusively with The Galecia Group since 2010. His responsbilities include strategic technology consulting, project management, and website and application development — with a focus on community and civic technology, open data, GIS/online mapping, and digital skills development. Jim manages all of our digital projects and is the developer of Bookpoints, our summer reading platform, and LibraryCall, our suite of phone-based services.
The Focus Area pages provide a little background about the topics and provide more details about the work we've done in each area. In addition, you may visit our Bookpoints and LibraryCall websites to learn more about our software-as-a-service options.
