Infopeople is a state-wide project that serves as the training arm of the California State Library, primarily serving libraries throughout the state. Infopeople's online and webinar students hail from libraries across the United States and several other countries, numbering in the thousands.
Developed a new website for Southern California Library Cooperative. The client was partway through the development of a new website when the contractor went out of business. The Galecia Group stepped in and helped SCLC complete the project. We worked with them to simplify the site to make it more manageable. We continue to provide Drupal maintenance support.
The mission of the Rural Initiative Resources Clearinghouse (Resource Roundup) was to create and maintain an online archive of resources to support California's rural public library directors and staff in serving their public mission more efficiently. By seeking out and sharing examples of commonly needed documents, materials, and programs in all aspects of library operations and services, the Clearinghouse benefits rural libraries by eliminating the need to "reinvent the wheel" for every new policy, practice, procedure or project needed at the local level.
Developed a new website for the State Library of California's Get Involved project. The objective of the project is to provide an easy-to-use website for library staff working with library volunteers. The concept was based another site built and maintained by the Group, the Rural Initiative's Resource Round-Up website, https://resourceroundup.net/.
